(This is a MS Word File) The cost to adopt a dog is from $150.00 - $200.00 (adoption fee based on
cost
incurred by ARF) and a fenced yard is required. (A home check is required before adoption.) All dogs from A.R.F. are spayed or neutered, necessary vaccinations given and dewormed.
We will provide, for each dog adopted a free 4 lb. bag of food. All dog
adoptions require a fenced in yard. Filling out an application does not
obligate applicant to adopt. Animal Rescue Families reserves the right to refuse an adoption without justification.

Below are pictures of many of the precious dogs and puppies available for adoption. The majority of them have been abandoned by their owners and need a loving, permanent home.

Before you adopt a dog:
We do not know the extent of abuse or neglect that these beautiful dogs have
encountered in their lives, but we do know that it will take time and
patience to earn their trust and build a bond. If you are chosen to
be their new guardian, be prepared to make their wellbeing your first priority
for the first few weeks or months of your time together. |

Isabelle-
Purebred Rat Terrier, 8 months old. Spayed female.
Micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. 12 lbs of sweetness.
Knowledge of the breed is recommended. Timid at first with
people and other dogs, but she's just scared. She is a very sweet little
girl, and would be a great addition to a family. No small
children, please, as she's quite unsure of all the loud noises
& quick movements. Not a mean bone in her body! Fenced yard is
required. Adoption fee is $200. Please fill out an application
if interested. She can be seen by appointment only.
 
Max-
Happy go lucky & very friendly male dog. Always ''smiling''! Possible
Boxer/APBT or Staffordshire mix. Must know about the breed(s), as they're
not for everyone. Brindle & white. Neutered, and guessed to be around 10-12
months old. Was found wandering the roadside, but his rescuers are unable to
keep him, so this charming guy needs a family to call his own. He is a great
dog, but could use some training with a leash, as he hasn't figured out that
he's not in charge of where he goes, when on leash. He's very energetic, and
needs a strong owner, as he weighs 75 lbs and uses every pound to try and
get where he wants to go. No young children, and a fenced yard is required.
Unknown around cats. Very energetic around other dogs (brings out the puppy
in him!)

Sophie:
Australian Shepherd\Golden Retriever\Chow mix. She is 5 years old, fixed,
and current on her vaccinations. She is a very smart dog, a regular at
doggie daycare(although she is protective of her own territory when at
home), kind with people, and beautiful. She is also a bit of a barker but
not extreme. Has been taken to herding and did obedience where she did
great. She is a good dog and trainable in a more conducive environment and
to someone who can spend more time with her. For more information, and how

Murphy: **Currently
rehabilitating from knee surgery** 7 yr old spayed female, UTD on
vaccinations. Anatolian Shepherd x Yellow Labrador mix. Don't let her
age fool you, she thinks she's only a pup! Prefers to be alpha, but isn't
over-bearing. Gets along with other dogs, and just steps back if she doesn't
want a dog too close to her. Wants all of your attention, very loving, and
will give you kisses nonstop! Fenced yard

Winston **adopted**-
Papillon mix. 2 years old, up to date on vaccinations,
and will be neutered before adoption. His owner passed away and he had no
place to go. He is very timid and extremely shy, loves to cuddle. Would
prefer a home with no other pets, and no children.
This little guy would be perfect for an older person who is home a lot and
has the time to dedicate to him. A fenced yard is required.

Zeppy *adopted*-
Beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside. 6
yrs old. Neutered, up to date on vaccinations. He is loving, loyal and
looking for a permanent home. Extremely smart, knows commands and very
healthy. Zeppy is defensive on-leash & in a crate with some other dogs due to the fact that
he was attacked by another dog, earlier in his life. We are confident that he will get
better with the proper training, and has already gotten much better. Zeppy is for a responsible dog owner with
experience with dog temperament training. Never
exposed to cats or young children. Minimum of 6 ft fenced yard is
REQUIRED.
