The cost to adopt a cat and a kitten is $80.00. The kittens have been given first vaccinations and dewormed. All cats & kittens will be spayed or neutered before adoption. We will provide, for each cat adopted a free 4 lb. bag of cat food.

Animal Rescue Families reserves the right to refuse an adoption without justification. Filling out an application does not automatically guarantee an adoption. No Kitten or Cat will be adopted without being spayed or neutered.

Kittens will be a minimum of 12 weeks (3 lbs) when altered for their health!
Please be patient as your pre-adopted kitten reaches this weight!

Below are pictures of many of the precious cats & kittens available for adoption. The majority of them have been abandoned by their owners and need a loving, permanent home.

Toby: Sweet and handsome young adult male. Approximately 1 year old. Has been neutered. Very loving and friendly. Would do best in a household with no young children. He can get a little rough when he's bothered too much, which kids tend to do. Very affectionate towards people, though. Lovely light buff orange coloration. Vaccinated, dewormed, and treated with Advantage. No children under 6 yrs old. If interested, please fill out an application and email it to arf@silverlink.net or fax it to (360) 613-2511

Juniper: Very handsome Abyssinian mix. Neutered male. Approximately 8 months old. Vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-free. Does well with other cats. Would like a quiet household without dogs. He can be quite nervous at times, but he's still adjusting to the rescue situation. Was found in a box along with his sister Daisy and two 4 week old kittens. No children under 6 yrs old. If interested, please fill out an application and email it to arf@silverlink.net or fax it to (360) 613-2511.

Chiquita & Nellie: Sweet and playful 16 week old kittens. 2 females. Well socialized and energetic! Their favorite thing to do is play! Everything is a toy to them. Have been spayed.. Vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-free. No children under 6 yrs old. If interested, please fill out an application and email it to arf@silverlink.net or fax it to (360) 613-2511

Rocky: He is a sweet and loving 1 year old neutered male. Lived a life as a stray, but now wants a nice home to reside in. He is litter box trained flea free and vaccinated. He has tested NEGATIVE for leukemia. He loves to sit in your lap and be petted. He enjoys the companionship of people and dogs, but would like to be the only cat in the household. No small children for this sweet guy, though. He's never been exposed to them, and he deserves a nice, relaxed, quiet & calm household to move into. Are you the right home for this handsome guy? He comes with his own carrier, litter boxes and kitty bed. Serious inquiries only, please. Please contact my caretaker, Jane, at 253-857-8809 or email at jane222@centurytel.net for more information on sweet Rocky.

Benjamin: He is 2 years old. Gray & white neutered male. Tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed and vaccinated, He was a stray who needed a 2nd chance at being loved. He is a fantastic cat. He is shy at first but he does adapt quickly. A quiet home is preferred and no small children. If interested, please fill out an application and email it to arf@silverlink.net or fax it to (360) 613-2511

Bengali: My foster mom named me that because I have the grace and beauty of a Bengal tiger.  I have been tested (neg) and neutered.  I have all my shots and have had wormer and flea treatment.  My vet said I am about 1 1/2  years old.  My foster mom thinks I am VERY intelligent.  I heard her say I am one of the smartest cats she has ever had.  I get along well with all the other cats but I haven't  seen any dogs since I was rescued.  My "mom" thinks I was left behind when my folks moved and she says "shame on them"  because I am really a nice, friendly, cat.  I sometimes get a little worried when I get picked up but I am quickly learning that I don't have to be afraid.  I am looking for a forever home where I can curl up and take a nap and then play with my family as I like to play "mouse on a string".  My "mom" thinks I would do best in a home with no small children.  If you can give me my wish please call my foster mom, Mary, at 360-779-4821 for a time to visit me or contact Animal Rescue Families.

Mr. Beard : Was abandoned on PSNS base in Bremerton. In the course of a health check, it was determined that he had a breathing abnormality. X-rays revealed a ''diaphragmatic hernia'', a serious condition (organs pushed up into chest cavity, causing collapsed lungs & breathing difficulties). Cause of this condition is trauma, and we believe he was kicked in the past, due to a fear of his foster dad's boots. Without the surgery, he wouldn't have lived long. He had the surgery on Feb. 20th, and has fully recovered. He deserves a chance at finding his forever home, where he will get the love & care he should've had from the start.  **WOULD LIKE TO BE IN A SINGLE-CAT HOUSEHOLD. Great with people, not a fan of other cats** For more information, please contact the foster mom at mtpctp@comcast.net or ARF at arf@silverlink.net .
